DEMO Brodmann 162 EP | 1620001907

The Brodmann PE 162 is an impressive 5’4″ grand piano that combines European-inspired tonal character with a compact size ideal for homes, studios, and teaching environments. Designed to deliver a sound larger than its dimensions suggest, the PE 162 is known for its warm, colorful tone, strong projection, and well-balanced touch, offering an enjoyable playing experience for musicians from beginner through advanced levels.

Part of Brodmann’s Professional Edition, the PE 162 incorporates a number of high-quality European components, including a German Strunz solid spruce soundboard, German Abel hammers, Röslau strings, and a Brodmann action designed by Langer in the UK. These components contribute to its responsive action and sweet, distinctly European tonal character.

At 162 cm (5’4″) long and 151 cm (4’11”) wide, the Brodmann PE 162 provides the presence and musical capabilities of a substantial grand while remaining manageable for residential spaces. Its combination of rich bass, singing treble, tonal warmth, and responsive control makes it an excellent choice for pianists seeking a refined grand piano without requiring the space of a larger instrument.
