The Pegasus Flying Piano was purchased by a sports celebrity who would like to remain anonymous. The owner did not know how to play piano, and did not think to have a player unit installed: as a result the piano has had no use and was only used as an art exhibit in his ten million dollar home.
The price of the Pegasus is $250,000. You are welcome to view photos of the piano, however to view the Pegasus in person would require a $10,000 deposit fully refundable if the piano does not meet or exceed all expectations.
Only 14 of this majestic musical instrument were made. People like Eddie Murphy, Lenny Kravitz, Prince and Ross Perot have the Pegasus. Just like in Greek mythology, the Pegasus piano seems to be flying in the air. Indeed the ‘Pegasus CC 208 P’ is built using modern techniques and high-tech materials employed by The Ferrari Car company of Italy. The Pegasus piano is equipped with an ergonomically curved keyboard; meaning the keys exhibit a slight curvature. This absolute work of art is extended even to the Piano’s seat with hand-the same stitched leathere employed in the Ferrari automobile which is fully adjustable for height, width and distance to the keyboard. A hard-wearing Ferrari Black lacquer finish results in a grand piano of breathtaking elegance and timeless beauty, crowned by a gold plated flying Pegasus horse on the lid. |
